DocuSign CLM Named a Leader in Gartner’s 2020 Magic Quadrant for Contract Lifecycle Management

By Steve Krause, SVP of Strategy and Product Marketing, DocuSign

We are pleased to announce that DocuSign CLM (formerly Spring CM) has been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Contract Lifecycle Management, February 2020.

It has been 18 months since DocuSign acquired SpringCM , and just a few months since officially launching the rebranded solution that came from that acquisition: DocuSign CLM. With this Leader placement in Gartner’s inaugural Magic Quadrant report for CLM, we are pleased to have our vision and execution validated.

In its assessment, Gartner evaluated CLM vendors based on 15 criteria including Product/Service, Overall Viability, Market Responsiveness and Customer Experience. Of the 12 products evaluated, DocuSign CLM was named one of only three Leaders. When explaining what propelled DocuSign into the Leader category, Gartner cited excellent customer experience scores and overall product capabilities as well as high scores in completeness of vision and ability to understand customer needs.

Based on interviews with customers, Gartner gave DocuSign high marks for overall service and support. We additionally received the highest score of any vendor in this Magic Quadrant for our ability to understand customer needs as well as the timeliness and completeness of responses to questions about products and services.

We are happy to see our focus on customer success reflected in customer references and throughout the report. For those customers who talked to Gartner, thank you for participating. In the eyes of analysts, your words speak louder than anything we can say.
