Gearing up for DocuSign's Global IMPACT Day

There is a buzz in the air at DocuSign’s Sydney office as our staff gear up for this year’s Global Impact Day.

Every year on the 15th of November, DocuSign employees from Australia, the United States, Great Britain, Europe, Japan and Brazil, leave the comfort of their offices and get stuck into volunteer work for some great causes.

We call it Global IMPACT Day.

It’s our way of supporting charities, animal shelters or local environmental organisations, in effort to improve the lives of others and our community as a whole.

In the lead up to the event we caught up with some of our DocuSign employees to find out what Global Impact Day means to them.

Why are the Global Impact Days important to you?

“IMPACT Days give us a chance to step away from the routine of work and focus on a worthy cause that has a positive impact on the world. It also provides an opportunity to self-reflect in the work that you are doing and working side by side with your colleagues is a great time to share this"

Damien Baric | Account Manager, Sydney

What has been your favourite Global Impact Day that you have attended with DocuSign and why?

“My favourite IMPACT Day was when we cleaned the Northern Beaches as I’m extremely passionate about the environment and keeping our oceans clean. It was also a great company bonding experience!”

Louise Anderson | Market Development Rep, Sydney

As a new employee, what are you looking forward to about Global Impact Days?

“As a new employee it’s great to be a part of a company that supports its local community and lives its values. By allowing employees an IMPACT Day, we (DocuSign) are not only able to make a difference but also build a stronger team culture in the process. It’s a win/win.”

Andy Thiss | Commercial Sales Director, Sydney
